At the end of each Lesson you will review the learned material by taking a short quiz or test. Typically students review the material a couple of times before beginning the quiz or test to ensure they have mastered the concepts and material covered in the lesson.

SIU Univerity's online programs are exactly that. There is no standard entrance or stat time for our programs, students may start their courses upon enrollment. Yes. All courses taken will be provided the same academic weight as those courses taken at other Universities as long as the grade earned in "C" or above. At SIU, our courses are 3 credits.

SIU University offers bachelor and master level courses and degree programs for both adult studnets as well as recent high school graduates.

We have found that all types of students are benefiting from our services. Students who are trying to get ahead by taking additional courses to graduate early will select our online university programs. US residents as well as international students participate in SIU programs. We serve students who’s career focus or extracurricular activities conflict with traditional university attendance expectations. Some of our students live in remote locations with limited educational options. School age and adult students from all walks of life can make SIU University their home.

Enrollment is open to students both within the US and around the world who are looking for self-paced, online program, with significant curriculum options.

Students are encouraged to participate in standardized tests; however it is not a requirement for admissions to SIU University. However, depending on the available seats in a given semester or enrollment period, SIU may use test scores to help determine which candidates will be accepted to the program. Many times work experience, community service, or other activities can elevate your standing as an applicant more so than a standardized test. If you wish to take the SAT, ACT, GMAT or other standardized testes, there are testing locations in every state as well as internationally. SIU staff can assist you in finding and scheduling a test date.

Yes, we have several program options available to help adult students advance academically via online and distance learning to earn their Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Upon request, if needed, SIU can issue an official transcript which you can present to the institution you are applying to. The acceptance of credits earned at SIU by other institutions is soley at their discretion we recomend that you verify acceptence with the institution you intent to apply/transfer to prior to stating your studies at SIU. International students can also be provided with an Apostille for their graduation documents or transcript as well as Authentication from the US Department of State. If you require any other particular administrative process in your country for your studies at SIU or are planning to continue further studies at a specific institution, we recommend that you visit and review their requirements directly since each country and/or institution may have its own unique requirements for each process.

There is no software to install on your computer, all course materials including videos, audio, test, quizzes and content can be viewed with the software already on most internet enabled computers.
