Master in Business Administration in Marketing (MBA)
The program is intended for students who want to further their business administration skills through marketing. The program will look at various thoughts and interpretations of ideas through business administration and marketing. The program identifies important topics such as management, leadership, law, entrepreneurship, communication, customer’s needs, research, among others to become a successful marketer. Ideal SIU students would include students who have a vision for self-development and further their learning through life’s applications..
SIU requires completing 25 credits to graduate with a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing Degree. This includes 1 introductory credit, 15 required credits, and 9 specialization credits. By the time the student finishes 25 credits, the student has a choice to graduate or to start working on the thesis or final project which will add 6 thesis/final project credits. The student will graduate with 31 credits. By completing the thesis or final project, and having a GPA of 3.5, the student will graduate as an Honors student.

Masters in International Business (MIB)
The Masters in International Business is a program intended for students who want to further their education in the business environment globally. It is a program for individuals who believe in the self-development of the individual interested in learning different factors of business beyond borders. The program recognizes the importance of having a global economy and global relations between different people. Beyond SIU, students will be able to apply their learning and skills in the business world.
